UNIVERSITY OF THESSALY:

University of Thessaly, with 37 Departments, and 8 Faculties is a University with its own identity and with a prominent position in our national educational system. As one of the University of Thessaly central institutions, the Center of International Education (CIE) http://cie.uth.gr/ supports all major processes at the University and provides basic and individually tailored services in order to systematize and unify the decentral training in the various fields. The main mission of CIE is to provide a sustainable environment for potential international partnerships and to provide increased opportunities for research staff, faculty, students and other target groups to be actively involved in various international initiatives. Furthermore, CIE aims at establishing and organizing intensive short training courses.


VIVA FEMINA:

Foundation “Viva Femina” is a women foundation located in Podkarpackie region in Poland. Our main aim is to act for the benefit of women, people with disabilities and other disadvantage groups on the labour market. We are implementing good practices in gender issues and promoting equal opportunities of women and men in all areas of life, as well as implementing good practices in education.

Viva Femina works directly with its target groups, especially with women with disabilities both physical and learning disabilities, mentors and coaches in our region, providing vocational guidance, psychologist services, vocational and social activisation, working with companies to organize practices for people with disabilities, offering mentoring and coaching for this target group. We are promoting entrepreneurship among women and work-based learning.

We employ vocational mentors, coaches, guidance specialists, psychologist, job coaches and human resources specialists in order to successfully integrate disadvantage people on the labour market.

Our staff and volunteers work with disadvantaged people from a variety of backgrounds, especially disabled, low qualified and long-time unemployed people. Our workers manage projects for those target group in our region, plan and organize entrepreneurship trainings, trainings for mentors and coaches with elements of work-based methodology. We promote entrepreneurial women with disabilities, presenting their successes, entrepreneurial attitudes, freelancers and those women are role models for others.

We offer supported employment training courses which are one of the best methods for inclusion of people with learning disabilities on the labour market.

Gdoce is a company based in Spain, well experienced in the entrepreneurship world. We are specialized in new digital technologies learning in addition to an extensive use of social networks, Web 2.0 tools and the world cloud computing projects for all types of public and private clients in learning environments.

Our expertise is to develop digital content and entrepreneurship services platform applications, with particular emphasis on learning, knowledge and innovation. Specifically, we are focused on developing, implementing, documenting and maintaining IT applications platforms, issuing specific technologies and development environments, ensuring secure access to data and meeting the criteria of “usability” and quality required by established standards.

In the last years we have collaborated with our partners in several projects about training digital competences with entrepreneurship support. We are commmitted with the digital training competences and the certification of those knowledges.

UCE:

Union des Couveuses (Union of incubators) is the head of a national network of business creation. Founded in 2002, the association constitutes of a team of 5 employees and 12 board members. The Union of incubators represents and promotes its member incubators on a national scale.
UCE federates 60 incubators throughout France and in the overseas department with about a staff of 250 people. Incubators provide group training sessions in key business skills, professional mentoring, and networking opportunities to entrepreneurs setting up their own companies. Moreover, the exclusive service for crash test—the ability to test your business on the marketplace under real conditions and legal framework—allow entrepreneurs to examine economic feasibility of their projects.
We aim to strengthen the network by holding each member to our certified quality standard centered around key services for entrepreneurs. We develop and provide access to the digital and entrepreneurial tools, and legal and fiscal guidance necessary to ensure efficient professional training across the board. We offer a range of training sessions to teach those who work at the incubators to mentor entrepreneurs.

The union ensures that French incubators collaboration is impactful. The entrepreneurs accompanied are approximately 60% female and 40% male from diverse social and educational backgrounds of which over 90% are jobseekers. They start businesses in a wide variety of sectors: arts and culture, wellbeing, technology, social, agriculture, retail, B2B & B2C services etc.

COOPERATIVE PATRIMONIA CORSICA (PPC):

PPC is a cooperative of activity and employment created in 2013. It has 3 departments:

  • Maritima – valorization, conservation and revitalization of maritime heritage
  • Petrafolia – test activity in agriculture field
  • Petra Patrimonia – valorization, conservation and revitalization of buit heritage, landscape and environment

PPC provides business support programmes for unemployed people and more specifically to youth willing to create an economic activity.

PPC aims at promoting economic initiative by enabling project managers to create business scale testing economic feasibility of their project while learning responsibility for their own activity and to better understand the functions of the entrepreneurs in real situations. This social and economic innovation ensures reversibility and easy access to business creation.

PPC activity includes a coaching programme aiming to develop specific social skills needed by managers: tasks execution, personal initiatives, ability to anticipate and respond effectively to change, management of cultural and social differences, leadership, management of emotions, ability to negotiate with others, interest in learning new things/interest in innovations, management of time efficiently, knowledge of how to develop strategies…
